Gary Pearlman, an interior designer and graphic artist, is exhibiting original works of contemporary art at fairweather house & gallery, in Seaside, Oregon. Gary, a northwest artist, is a graduate of the University of Oregon and New York University. His art has been shown in galleries in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland. In addition, his highly detailed works are in private collections throughout the United States.
More recently, Gary has ventured into the world of large-scale surface art, fusing nature with technology to create the ultimate in original textural wood panels. Building on nature's inherent beauty, Gary embeds individually cut patterns into handmade works of art. The result: a masterpiece that exalts the colors and shading in the deep forests of nature. Some of his works have integrated hand-made paper and other media to create an impressive statement discerning interiors.
Gary highlights work through art and architecture that is characterized by intricacy, abstract contrasts, and detailed backgrounds. His work is a departure from the conventional style of contemporary art but no less intense, with elements of the expressionist subject matter showing quiet presence. Often giving the impression of having been created spontaneously, Gary's paintings often call attention to nature and life.
